    Three homes were destroyed by a fire last week.

    The stations will accept donations until July 13, and anyone wishing to donate can drop off a cash donation at any Extra Mile Chevron in the area, according to the report.

    The fire occurred on June 4, and destroyed two trailer homes and damaged a third. Wind also carried the blaze, catching 12 palm trees on fire. The fire's cause remains under investigation, the report stated.

    The five locations accepting donations are:

    -- Palm Springs: 6600 N. Indian Canyon Dr.;
    -- Thousand Palms: 72276 Ramon Rd.;
    -- Rancho Mirage: 36101 Bob Hope Dr.;
    -- Palm Desert: 72801 Highway 111; and,
