Skinny Nutritional Corp. Expands Distribution

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. -- Skinny Nutritional Corp. signed new agreements with three additional Anheuser-Busch beverage distributors in the state of Minnesota to bring Skinny Water, a zero-calorie, multi-functional water, to more customers in the state.

The company now has six Anheuser-Busch distributors that work with beer wholesalers in the state of Minnesota, and marks the 20th distribution agreement since the launch of the product in May 2008, the company stated.

"These three additional Anheuser-Busch distributors will help strengthen our distribution in the state of Minnesota," Don McDonald, CEO and president of Skinny Nutritional Corp., said in a statement. "We have already experienced success with three Anheuser-Busch distributors in the Minneapolis area, and with these additional distributors we will further our market penetration in the state of Minnesota."

Schott Distributing Co. Inc., of Rochester, Minn.; C & L Distributing, of Sauk Rapids, Minn.; and McDonald Distributing, of Rush City, Minn., will carry the brand’s five flavors. The products will be distributed to 2,000 points, including retailers such as Cub Foods, Festival Foods, Holiday Stationstores, Hy-Vee, Pump N Munch and Greenway stations, the company stated.

"We are always looking for new products that will meet consumer demand in our expanding market," Tom Schott, president of Schott Distributing Co. Inc., said in a statement. "After learning more about the zero-calorie, multi-functional Skinny Water and spotting it at one of our local Target stores, I knew this would be a perfect addition to our product line."
