U.S. Oil Brings Buying Power to Its Independent Customers

APPLETON, Wis. — U.S. Oil is teaming up with Convenience Store Alliance (CSA) to give independent customers access to national chain discount and rebate programs.

U.S. Oil is the petroleum and renewable energy distribution division of Appleton-based U.S. Venture.

"I have come to realize as an independent that I need every penny back possible," said Jackson Kysar, U.S. Oil customer and convenience store owner. "I am very excited to see what CSA has to offer. In a business where every penny goes straight to the bottom line, it's a no-brainer. And if it is like anything else U.S. Oil offers, it will be nothing short of awesome."

CSA's list of more than 20 vendor programs range from categories such as grocery, tobacco, fountain and ATM programs, to human resources, workers compensation, property and liability insurance, cleaning services and more.

"We are constantly working to diversify our products and services to help our customers gain a competitive edge," said U.S. Oil Vice President of Sales Steve Quinette. "Adding CSA’s program of national vendors to our existing program is showing our customers U.S. Oil's commitment to help them 'Stay Ahead.'

"With top CSA members saving an average of six cents per gallon by utilizing various vendor programs, we're confident our customers will gain a significant advantage," he added.

CSA is designed for independent convenience store operators across the United States. The alliance gives store owners access to reduced costs on high-quality products, valuable resources to boost business efficiency, and solutions for business growth.

For the western half of the United States, CSA is the Phillips 66 Branded Retailer Buying Program and is available to more than 7,000 branded sites that currently sell Phillips 66, Conoco or 76 branded gasoline. Dealers and fuel distributors outside the exclusive territories are also eligible to participate, regardless of brand affiliation.
