    ShortStop C-stores Rollout Mobile Loyalty Program

    After a successful 90-day trial, customers can purchase products, access account balances and transaction history and more using their mobile phone.

    BOULDER, Colo. -- ShortStop, a four-store chain branded Conoco-Phillips, is expanding its current mobile gift program to include Mocapay’s mobile loyalty solution after a successful three-month mobile gift trial, and expects to launch it in the second quarter of this year in conjunction with Mocapay and Smart Transaction Systems, the company reported.

    ShortStop mobile gift account holders are able to transact at the point-of-sale, access their account balance and transaction history, find the nearest location, and reload their gift/convenience account, all from a mobile phone, according to the company.

    "We were impressed with the execution of Mocapay’s implementation team," Tony Dageenakis, ShortStop co-owner, said in a statement. "Mocapay’s mobile gift transaction solution was seamlessly integrated with our existing plastic gift transaction process which made it very easy and simple for our employees to ensure a smooth customer experience at point-of-sale."
