Shell Launches Fuel Card for Large Fleets

HOUSTON -- Shell Oil Co. launched the Shell Fleet Navigator Card, specifically intended for large fleets.

According to Shell, the new fuel card allows fleet managers to tailor their fuel network to control when, where and what fuel sites their drivers use, helping to alter driver behavior and increase savings for their respective companies.

"The Shell Fleet Navigator Card provides fleet managers with more access, flexibility and control," said Henry Miller, general manager of the Commercial Fleet Card Program for Shell in the United States."We know how important control, enhanced reporting and savings are for fleet managers. Our card enables them to define their fuel network based on company policies and needs. The card gives fleet managers high levels of control and savings."

Those using the Shell Fleet Navigator Card can receive savings at 14,500 gas stations nationwide. The card can also be used at competing locations as 95 percent of all U.S. fueling stations accept the Navigator Card. Fleet managers signing up for the Navigator Card receive a dedicated Shell relationship manager to define their own fuel network and customize the program around company policies, driver behavior and other specific needs.

Fleet managers can also contact Shell customer service 24/7 as needed.

Shell Oil Co. is a division of The Hague, Netherlands-based Royal Dutch Shell plc.
