Shell and Ralphs Team Up For Fuel Savings Program
LOS ANGELES -- Oil giant, Shell teams up with Ralphs Grocery Co. to offer customers in the greater Los Angeles area, including Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, a chance to earn fuel savings at the pump, beginning Nov. 1.
"We are excited to be teaming up with Ralphs to help fill customers' gas tanks for less," Dan Little, North America fuels marketing manager for Shell Oil Products U.S. said in a released statement. "With Ralphs stores throughout the greater Los Angeles area and conveniently located participating Shell stations nearby, it's never been easier for customers to save on high-quality Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines."
Every time a customer uses their Ralphs rewards card when making a purchase at an area store they will received Fuel Points that can be used at the pump at participating Shell stations. Ralphs rewards card holders have the chance to redeem 100 points per visit to save 10 cents per gallon instantly, valid up to 35 gallons of fuel per purchase, the company stated.
One dollar spent on most Ralph’s items equals one Fuel Point; 50 Fuel Points can be earned for each filled eligible prescription; and two Fuel Points can be earned for every dollar spent on third-party gift cards from the in-store Gift Card Malls. All Fuel Points will be automatically added to the customers Ralph’s rewards card account and total points can be viewed on customer receipts after every purchase or online at their “My Ralphs” page at www.ralphs.com.
To redeem Fuel Points at participating Shell stations, customers use their Ralphs rewards card at the pump by manually entering their card number or alternate ID, which then initiates the fuel savings, the company stated. Fuel Points must be used during the month they are earned or by the end of the following calendar month, the company stipulated.
