ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. awarded Lewisville, N.C., firm MediaFit Inc. with the marketing and advertising contract for its North Carolina market, The Business Journal of the Greater Triad Area reported.
The Altoona, Pa.-based chain has 23 convenience stores in North Carolina, including nine in the north-central Triad area, which surrounds the major cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point. The company's "Feel the Love" campaign has been running in the state since last year, according to the report.
"North Carolina is an emerging market for us, and it's important that we build awareness and drive purchase of our food and beverage items," said Fred McConnell, director of brand development for Sheetz. "The activity there is a key part of our branding strategy, and MediaFit's experience in the market will be a great asset."
