ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz is willing to bet that it's not the only one interested in product placement. Coinciding with its support of Morgan Spurlock's documentary "POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold," the grocery chain has invited its customers to 'sell out' as part of a new contest, the company announced.
From now through May 31, customers can submit pictures or videos of themselves 'selling out for Sheetz' with product placement on Facebook at apps.facebook.com/greatsheetzsellout/. On June 1, voting begins to determine the contest finalists.
The top ten submissions with the most votes on June 16 will receive a Sheetz Sponsored Lunch for one year, and a single submission will be chosen from the ten to be the grand prize winner and receive a Sheetz Fueled Life For a Year.
