ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. is using ViryaNet Service Hub to automate its field service operations, including the activities associated with workforce management, facilities maintenance and store equipment repair, ViryaNet reported.
ViryaNet Service Hub is helping Sheetz to optimize scheduling, dispatching and provide in-field processing of its work orders regardless of connectivity. The c-store retailer is also using the solution to track and manage van inventory, collect travel and labor time associated with each job, and provide the ability to create work orders.
All this information is integrated with Sheetz's corporate systems for financials, inventory and call-logging including the Sheetz IVR solution for subcontractor work order reporting.
"In addition, ViryaNet Service Hub is already providing us great insight into opportunities for improvement in equipment selection, training of field technicians, cost management, and inventory control," stated Mark Wilson, director of stores at Sheetz.
