Sheetz Gets Ready to Set Up Shop

CLARKBURG, W.Va. -- The news outlet WBOY reported that Star City, W.Va. is one step closer to getting a Sheetz convenience store location.

This is an important step for the local city, as Star City Mayor, Bob Musick told the news outlet: "What we don't have here in Star City is commerce. We don't have a gas station in Star City. This is a tremendous opportunity for our community." He added that he hopes the new c-store will attract other businesses to the area.

The city council approved plans for the design and construction of the Sheetz store, to be located at the corner of Monogahela Boulevard and Boyers Avenue, and less than a quarter of a mile from another Sheetz location.

According to WBOY, construction will begin in August and span 16 months until completion.
