Sheetz Cuts Prices on Popular Menu Items

ALTOONA, Pa. -- All 329 Sheetz stores are sending a new message to customers: endless menu options and big portions are available, for a lower price than before.

The company recently gave its Made-To-Order lineup of subs, sandwiches and salads a makeover and significantly lowered prices on more than 20 menu items, the company stated. Sheetz did this to offer customers the same foods at a better value. Competition in the quick-serve restaurant market is increasing, which made it necessary for Sheetz to offer its customers a wide variety of choices at reasonable prices, the company stated. The new menu offers unlimited options, while allowing customers to pay for only the toppings they want.

Sheetz created the Made-To-Order program in the early 90s, and at that time, company chairman Steve Sheetz, served as the spokesman for the program. He returns again for this promotion as the TV spokesman for the campaign.

"Our customers have come to know Sheetz as the place for fresh food made just the way they like it," said Sheetz, "Now customers can enjoy our great tasting food at incredible prices -- every day."

He continued: "We're happy to be able to bring to market a superior selection of fresh food that's reasonably priced. We feel it's a better offer than many of our competitors make because the low prices are available 24-hours a day."
