Sam's Club Launches 100 Days of Summer

BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- For the second straight year, Sam’s Club is supporting independent convenience store owners during their busiest time of year through its launch of the "100 Days of Summer" program and a special membership offer, designed to help c-store owners make a profit, the company reported.

The Sam’s Club $15 membership offers a savings of $20, and is available for purchase May 22 through June 5, and valid through Labor Day. Convenience store owners who are not Sam’s Club business members can take advantage of this offer to sample the savings at their nearest Sam’s Club location or online at www.samsclub.com/cstore.

To help independent c-store owners take advantage of increased customer traffic during the critical summer months, Sam’s Club is hosting an online resource center at www.samsclub.com/cstore, the company reported.
This program offers a portfolio of business solutions, merchandising and promotional support and other resources, along with new product offerings—all combined with in-store support from helpful associates who understand the c-store industry.

Additionally, Sam’s Club guarantees it can help c-store owners save, and will refund any business membership if not able to demonstrate savings, according to the company. One business member took the cost comparison on a few essentials, such as sunflower seeds and crackers, and found more than $27,000 is annual savings, Sam’s Club reported.
