Rutter's Unveils Branded Gift Cards

YORK, Pa. -- As the holiday season approaches, Rutter's Farm Stores introduced branded Rutter's gift cards for shoppers to use when buying food, merchandise or fuel at the chain's stores.

The cards can hold any amount of money, from $10 to $100, according to the company. They are available at any of its 51 stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Franklin and Lancaster counties. Card balances can be monitored through its Web site, www.rutters.com, and the cards can be refilled at any store as well.

"Our customers look to Rutter's as the place where they can satisfy their day-to-day needs, from food and beverages to gasoline and a newspaper," said Scott Hartman, president of Rutter's Farm Stores, a third-generation family-owned business. "And now it's possible for customers to share that convenience with friends, family members and co-workers by giving them Rutter's gift cards."

The chain also stocks gift cards from other retail establishments, including Blockbuster, Sears, AMC Theatres, F.Y.E. and Foot Locker.
