Rutter's Gives More Gas Away

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter’s Farm Stores’ summer gas giveaway is at its half-way point, and York County residents Deb Rohrbaugh and Schirl Warner are the third and fourth winners in the campaign—each receiving free gasoline for one year in Rutter’s "Fuel Up Free!" promotion, the company reported.

Rutter’s officials presented the prizes Monday morning at the company’s York Township store, located at 2490 Cape Horn Road. A total of eight customers will receive free gas for one year as part of the contest, which began May 25, and runs through Aug. 30, and a ninth customer will win a Harley-Davidson Iron 883 motorcycle, courtesy of Rutter’s and hot dog maker Kunzler & Co.

Each of the winners will be chosen through a random drawing.

With each purchase of one of the company’s food and beverage specials, a customer receives one entry blank to enter the contest, and the more specials he or she purchases, the more chances the customer has to win, the company said.

Participating sponsors are Pepsi Cola, Coca-Cola, Cadbury Canada Dry, Function Beverage, Snapple, Red Bull, Edy’s Grand Ice Cream, Jack and Jill Ice Cream, Pennsylvania Lottery, Kunzler & Co., S&D Coffee and Rutter’s Dairy.
