YORK, Pa. -- Convenience store chain Rutter's Farm Stores donated $34,000 to the Greater Pennsylvania and Southern West Virginia chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The money will be used to grant the wishes of 10 children.

The donation continues Rutter's effort to donate to several charities on an ongoing basis. According to the company, it has donated nearly $2 million in the past five years.

"We believe in the good work of the Make-a-Wish Foundation and we're glad to have the chance to make the lives of some sick kids a little happier for awhile," said Scott Hartman, Rutter's CEO.
