Rutter's Adds Rotisserie Chicken to Its Award-Winning Menu

YORK, Pa. -- When it comes to expanding its menu, Rutter's Farm Stores isn't chicken -- even when the new item happens to be rotisserie chicken.

The convenience store retailer is now offering tender rotisserie chicken in both quarters and halves. The quarters are available in breast and wing combinations or in leg and thigh combinations. Customers can choose one of each combination or take two of the same to complete each half-chicken order.

Customers may also choose the original flavor, or pair it with spicy hot or buffalo sauce, and select a side dish and a drink to make their chicken order a complete meal.

This foodservice addition is Rutter's third this month.

As CSNews Online recently reported, the c-store retailer expanded its "Walking Taco" offering to include the option of Fritos brand corn chips as the base of the taco.

In addition, Rutter's is currently rolling out its new high-end coffee bar, which includes hot specialty beverages -- lattes, cappuccinos, espressos and Americanos. It also has a cold beverage lineup of iced lattes, frappes and smoothies.

Rutter's is a family owned and operated business with 57 locations throughout central Pennsylvania. The c-store retailer was the 2012 recipient of Convenience Store News’ Foodservice Innovator of the Year.
