Royal Buying Group Makes Corporate Changes

LISLE, Ill. -- The Royal Buying Group Inc. (RBG) corporate department is now composed of a newly developed marketing department and digital advertising sales department, which join its existing executive office, general office and human resources departments.

The company -- a national organization dedicated to maximizing sales and profitability of convenience stores, petroleum locations, college bookstores, truck stops/travel plaza centers, auto repair facilities, drugstores, tobacco outlets and liquor stores -- said it looks forward to the new developments and growth that will come from the new structure.

These departmental enhancements include several promotions and new hires, outlined below:

Marketing Department

Donna Rubis is now executive assistant and marketing manager. She came to the Royal Buying Group in 2009 and was hired as the executive assistant to President/CEO Michael Zielinski, and the RBG board of directors. Rubis was recently promoted to marketing manager, in addition to her current role in providing executive office assistance to the company. Her chief role within the RBG marketing department will be to oversee and manage all marketing projects and development.

Erika Swanson has been promoted to graphic design manager. Swanson has been working for RBG since 2010 as the graphic designer. Her main responsibilities will now be in the design and creation of promotional and marketing projects and materials, along with RBG's monthly Competitive Edge magazine.

Katie Ames has been promoted to communications coordinator. Ames has been working for RBG since 2008 and was hired as the administrative assistant/receptionist for the general office and human resources department. Her primary role in the marketing department will now be the execution and monitoring of all RBG's marketing and communications.

Digital Advertising Sales Department

Nora Keane is now advertising sales team lead. Keane has been working with the Royal Buying Group since 2010 and was hired as a digital advertising sales representative. In correlation to the expansion of the STARZ advertising responsibilities within RBG, she was promoted to digital advertising sales team lead. Her key role will be to promote and sell STARZ advertising, along with additional sales support for the 2011 US Fuels Conference and Trade Show, the Florida Petroleum Marketers Sunshine Food and Fuel Expo, and the Pacific Oil Conference and Trade Show.

Cheryl Fronczak has been hired as an advertising representative. Fronczak is the newest member of the department and joined the team this past winter. She will be working alongside Keane in the efforts of promoting and selling STARZ advertising, in addition to selling sponsorships and exhibit space for the US Fuels Conference and Trade Show, the Florida Petroleum Marketers Sunshine Food and Fuel Expo, and the Pacific Oil Conference and Trade Show.

Human Resources & Office Management

Matt Metoyer has joined the company as human resource manager/office manager. He has been with Royal Buying Group since January. His position is principally to manage and maintain the benefits, policies and procedures of the personnel, and provide direction, focus and leadership for all general office issues.
