ARLINGTON, Texas -- Hosted by the by The Pinnacle Corp., the 18th annual Pinnacle Summit was attended by 83 Pinnacle clients from 31 companies. Attendees were presented with information on upcoming software enhancements and participated in an interactive forum discussing issues like high credit card fees, fuel price volatility, PCI compliance, loyalty, business intelligence and foodservice efficiencies.

At the close of the Summit, Pinnacle honors a select group of customers for respective achievements including five winners in four award categories: Outstanding Technology Achievement; Excellence in Innovation; Excellence in Collaboration; and Special Recognition for Outstanding Client Contribution.
Among those recognized were Lincoln, Neb.-based Whitehead Oil Co. for its implementation of Symphony Auditor, a proprietary fleet card billing system utilizing Palm POS and Loyalink, and Rockland, Ill.-based Road Ranger LLC, who was recognized for its efficient implementation of Palm POS. Both companies received the award for Outstanding Technology Achievement.
Road Ranger displayed excellence in integrating Palm with their numerous internal systems, Pinnacle reported in a released statement. With their Palm rollout nearly complete, they have started the implementation of Loyalink, the company stated.
Additionally, Flash Foods of Waycross, Ga. was honored with the Excellence in Collaboration award, given in recognition of exceptional teamwork and partnering. Flash Foods earned this acknowledgement for their participation on several key projects including LoyalPay, LoyalDebit and the Oasis MWS computer assisted ordering module along with Symphony EPM, Pinnacle's Business Intelligence solution, the company reported.
