Registration Opens for 2007 Future Forum

The 2007 Future Forum, scheduled for March 26-28 at the posh Renaissance Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg, Fla., appears to be living up to its theme -- "Positioning for Leadership" -- as top executives from many of the industry leading c-store chains have signaled their commitment to attend.

Registration, which opened last week, already includes such notable companies as Alon USA, BP/ampm, Circle K, ExxonMobil, Fas Mart, Kwik Trip, Sheetz, Town & Country, Village Pantry, WaWa and many more.

Bruce Tulgan, an author and business consultant who has been called "the new Tom Peters" by one retailer CEO, will give the keynote address. With Baby Boomers redefining aging and retirement, Gen Xers represent the new generation of leaders, and Gen Yers are the fastest growing workforce segment. Tulgan's address, "Grooming the Next Generation of Leaders," will offer the latest strategies, best practices and training tools on how to become an expert leader of multi-generational teams. Following Tulgan's keynote, a panel of c-store retailers will share their ideas on "Competing Effectively to Recruit and Train the Best People."

In addition, noted experts and industry executives will gather and focus on how to gain market dominance with winning strategies, passionate people and unrelenting customer focus. Other keynote speakers include:
 T. Scott Gross on "How to Delivering Outrageous Customer Service," and,
 "Consumerologist" and NBC-Today Show marketing guru Phil Lempert who will develop and moderate a live and audience-interactive consumer focus group aimed at gaining a better understanding of how to win the loyalty of elusive Baby Boomers.

Past attendees have included a who's who of leading convenience retailers and industry suppliers. Additional sessions are entitled:
-- Competing Effectively to Recruit and Retain the Best People
-- How Tesco Built a Behemoth in the U.K. and Will It Work in the U.S.?

-- Walking the Customer Service Talk
