Redner's Markets Automates PCI Compliance

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Redner's Markets, a regional chain of warehouse-style and quick-stop grocery stores located in the northeastern U.S., implemented Tripwire Enterprise to help meet its Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) goals, the company reported. Redner's is now fully automated with file integrity monitoring and automatic configuration assessments across all PCI-related networks.

Compliance automation dramatically improved the company's operational efficiencies, and reporting is automatic since Tripwire Enterprise archives all change data and makes it available at the push of a button, the vendor reported.

"Throughout its history, Redner's Markets has been committed to superior customer service and implementing the latest in operational systems. This has enabled us to experience remarkable business growth," said Nicholas Hidalgo, IT director at Redner's Markets. "Using Tripwire Enterprise to automate PCI compliance helps us ensure our customers that we are providing the best possible protection of their financial data. Automation also allows my team to use their skills to better serve both customers and corporate goals."

Tripwire Enterprise saved the IT team system administration time, helping them more efficiently manage multiple types of markets with PCI requirements, according to the company. It allows them to monitor activity on network devices from a central corporate location and offers reporting capabilities that company executives and auditors require for documenting IT change history and demonstrating compliance.
