Red Bull is energizing the energy category again with the June launch of Red Bull Energy Shot and Red Bull Sugarfree Shot. The premium brand is focused on engaging new customers, creating new consumption occasions for Red Bull and deliver incremental business, the company stated. The Red Bull Energy Shot is a concentrated, non-carbonated version of Red Bull Energy Drink, and comes in re-sealable 2-ounce bottles. Red Bull Energy Shot has 25 calories, while Red Bull Sugarfree Shot has two calories, each with 80 milligrams of caffeine, according to the company. Red Bull Energy Shot will be available nationwide in June 2009 in single-serve with a suggested retail price of $2.79 and two-packs for $4.99.
