DALLAS -- RaceTrac Petroleum, the 520-plus store convenience chain based in Atlanta, was named one of the top 25 large companies to work for in the Dallas-Fort Worth area this week by the Dallas Business Journal.
"In a year that has seen the Dallas-Fort Worth region of RaceTrac celebrate the company’s 75th anniversary with the opening of its 75th North Texas store, this designation is a testament to the hard-working associates and managers who are committed to making RaceTrac a great place to shop," said RaceTrac in a statement. "As the company grows, RaceTrac continues to seek the best talent available for each position to help better serve their customers."
RaceTrac was chosen from among more than 400 companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that competed for the honor. The competing companies were evaluated by a comprehensive score of employee surveys which were administered by an independent research firm. The companies chosen as the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work were those that received the top best-practice scores. The best-practice scores vary by company size and meet national industry standards.
