TULSA, Okla. -- QuikTrip chairman, president and CEO Chet Cadieux will address future leaders at 7 p.m. May 7, when he will give the keynote speech at the Oklahoma State University-Tulsa graduation ceremony for the class of 2007, US State News reported.

"Mr. Cadieux is a leader who has spent his career engaged in the community," Oklahoma State University-Tulsa President Gary Trennepohl said in a written statement. "His dedication to his employees and involvement in the community are qualities that exemplify how OSU graduates can make a difference as they embark upon their own futures."

Cadieux, who is also the chairman of the Tulsa Metro Chamber, is a native Tulsan whose father, Chester Cadieux II, founded QuikTrip Corp. in 1958. Cadieux is also actively involved in the community through his role as board director of Bank of Oklahoma, N.A., and the Tulsa Community Foundation.

"I am very honored and deeply humbled to get the opportunity to speak to these outstanding men and women as they begin the next stage of their lives. I know that they are going to make a difference in our community," Cadieux said.

The ceremony will be held at The Pavilion at Expo Square.
