QuikTrip Brings New Leaf to Phoenix

PHOENIX -- QuikTrip signed an agreement with New Leaf Brands Inc., provider of New Leaf Teas, authorizing the beverages to be offered in its 70 convenience stores in the metro area here.

New Leaf Brands also announced a new distribution agreement with Crescent Crown Distributing in Phoenix, further expanding its reach into Arizona. Crescent Crown is the distributor for MillerCoors, Crown Imports LLC, Heineken USA, New Belgium Brewery, Pabst Brewing Co., Mike's Hard Lemonade and many other beer suppliers. In addition to its extensive beer portfolio, the distributor also offers non-alcoholic beverages such as Welch's, Sunny Delight and now New Leaf Tea.

Crescent Crown sells and delivers more than 26 million cases annually throughout its distribution territories in Arizona and Louisiana, making the company one of the top five largest beer distributors in the country, according to New Leaf Brands.

"Arizona has been a market that we have targeted for some time and we are happy to announce our product roll out in the Phoenix metro area," Eric Skae, New Leaf president and CEO, said in a statement. "We look forward to gaining market awareness for our products as we aggressively expand throughout the southwest region."
Founded by Skae in 2004, New Leaf Teas are sweetened with 100 percent organic cane sugar, and are available in 14 flavors in more than 8,000 retail outlets.
