Quickway to Co-sponsor Outdoor Hockey Game
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Convenience store chain Quickway is partnering with beverage company New Leaf Brands Inc. to co-sponsor the Mirabito Outdoor Classic hockey game, taking place Saturday at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, N.Y.
The Mirabito Outdoor Classic will be the American Hockey League's (AHL) first-ever outdoor hockey game, featuring host team Crunch, and the Binghamton Senators. The 1 p.m. event will be broadcast live on the Time Warner Cable Sports NHL Network throughout the U.S. and Canada, according to New Leaf Brands.
The company also announced its beverages will be offered in the more than 50 Quickway stores across central New York. The chain's stores offer Mobil- and CITGO-branded gasoline and a wide variety of convenience, grocery and household items.
Founded in 2004 in Orangeburg, N.Y., New Leaf was created with the vision of providing healthy beverages for consumers. New Leaf Tea was the company's first product and it is now available in 14 flavors and in more than 8,000 outlets. New Leaf Teas are sweetened with 100-percent organic cane sugar.
