QuickChek Named a Best Place to Work in NJ for Fifth Year

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- QuickChek Corp. was named to the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" list for the fifth consecutive year. The Whitehouse Station-based operator of 137 convenience stores also has been named to the same list for the past two years in New York by the State Society of Human Resource Management.

"We are very proud to once again be named one of the best places to work in New Jersey," said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling. "Our mission is to be a great place to work, a great place to shop and a great place to invest. With over 3,500 team members in our 130 stores, we strive to create a positive experience and fun environment where core values are nurtured, hard work is rewarded and leadership is cultivated."

The New Jersey award is compiled by business journal NJBIZ. QuickChek will be honored during a ceremony at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick, N.J., on May 1.

QuickChek has been recognized for the past five years due to its multiple employee benefits. The c-store retailer offers full-time workers a wide variety of affordable health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) savings plan, fitness center reimbursement and pet insurance.

The retail chain also offers a "Fit for Life" wellness program, which provides opportunities for team members to learn about their current health status via metabolic screenings, health risk assessments and annual physicals.
