Quick Chek Named One of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J -- NJBiz named Quick Chek one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey, the company announced.

This is the second consecutive year that the privately owned food store chain, which consists of more than 125 locations in New Jersey and the southern New York metro area, has made the business journal's list of top employers. The survey and award program splits 55 companies into the medium-sized group (25-129 employees) and the large-size group (250 or more employees). Quik Check was named as one of the top large companies and will participate in an awards ceremony on April 26, the company said.

"Quick Chek’s true mission and core values revolve around operating as an outstanding place to work,” said Bob Graczyk, Quick Chek 's vice president of human resources. "We pride ourselves in creating an environment where our team members not only enjoy their work, but also like the people they work with and the customers they serve. Becoming one of NJBiz’s Best Places to Work in N.J. for the second consecutive year validates this commitment to our employees as we continue to provide our customers with fresh food choices, outstanding coffee and a dedicated, friendly staff of customer service representatives."

The selection process for the list of top companies consists of two parts: an evaluation of each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, worth approximately 25 percent of the total score, followed by an employee survey to measure the employee experience, worth 75 percent. Best Companies Group managed the survey and evaluation process and helped determine the final top rankings.
