KSS Fuels Introduces Pricing Performance Management Service

PrintKSS Fuels Introduces Pricing Performance Management Service

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- KSS Fuels introduced its Pricing Performance Management (PPM) service, which will help users of KSS Fuels' PriceNet and RackPrice fuel price management solutions ensure they are receiving the maximum benefit from their software installations, the company reported.

PPM is also designed to help users manage pricing performance on an ongoing basis with insight from KSS Fuels' industry experts.

"Our value-add Pricing Performance Management service is designed to provide our customers the ability -- with insight and advice from our industry experts -- to strategically and proactively monitor and adapt their PriceNet and RackPrice software configurations to changing market conditions and competitive influences," Bob Stein, president and CEO of KSS Fuels, said in a released statement. "The result is maximum benefit from the use of our software, and the best possible performance being achieved."

The value-add service consists of a series of weekly and monthly status reports and quarterly "health-checks," which monitor performance against previously determined key performance indicators (KPIs), as well as changes in the marketplace, and highlight where the users' software configuration could be altered to improve performance, the company reported. The findings and recommendations from this process are reviewed at regular intervals between key stakeholders and KSS Fuels experts to determine what -- if any -- strategic changes should be made to improve performance.

PriceNet is a comprehensive pricing solution that supports the key tasks and stakeholders involved in retail fuels pricing, and RackPrice is an end-to-end wholesale pricing solution and includes modules for price generation automation, reporting/analysis, competitive price prediction, price-volume modeling and price optimization, the company stated.
