FDA's Center for Tobacco Products Kicks Off New Webinar Series

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) kicks off a new series of webinars today. The "FDA Tobacco Compliance Webinars -- Education and Information for Retailers and Small Businesses" series is designed to provide FDA tobacco compliance education and information to retailers and small businesses.

Taking place today, the first webinar in the series is titled "Warning Letters for Tobacco Retailers." This discussion on warning letters issued for violations of the Tobacco Control Act or its implementing regulations will include information on what is contained in a warning letter and what a retailer should do if they receive a warning letter.

The Webinar will be available immediately afterwards in an archived form at www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/ResourcesforYou/ForIndustry/Retailer/ucm220111.htm.
