Weird But True: QuikTrip Employee to Appear on "Maury"

WICHITA, Kan. -- Area QuikTrip convenience store employee Austin Clay -- a dead ringer for "Twilight" actor and teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson -- will appear on an episode of the "Maury" show this week, according to a report by The Wichita Eagle.

Clay recently traveled to New York to film the show, hosted by Maury Povich. He and several other celebrity look-alikes were sent out on the streets, cameras in tow, to catch the reactions of people fooled into thinking they were seeing the real thing. View an image of Clay on "Maury."

According to the show's producers, Clay was stopped by dozens of "Twilight"-obsessed teenage girls who asked him to pose for pictures. "Twilight" is a young-adult vampire romance novel series written by author Stephenie Meyer that has been adapted to film. There are currently four novels in the best-selling series.

Clay's "Maury" episode will also feature people who look like Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Rihanna, Johnny Depp, Tiger Woods and David Letterman, the newspaper reported.

The show is scheduled to air at 2 p.m. Thursday on the FOX network.
