Medallion C-stores to Open Six More

APOPKA, Fla. -- Medallion Convenience Stores Inc., which owns more than 60 convenience stores across Central Florida, plans to build six new stores next year, the Orlando Business Journal reported.

The company, headquartered here, also signed a lease for 10,894 square feet of office space in Maitland, where it will move its headquarters sometime next year, Stefanie Wood, brand manager at Medallion, said in the report.

Wood did not disclose the proposed size or estimated cost to develop the new stores. Medallion already owns the sites it will develop, but a construction timeline and contractors have yet to be determined, she told the newspaper.
