Kum & Go Offering $1.59 Gas in Tulsa, Okla.

TULSA, Okla. -- Kum & Go gas stations here are offering $1.59 per gallon gasoline Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, Tulsa World reported.

The Kum & Go store at 71st Street and Garnett Road started selling $1.59 per gallon fuel at 7 a.m. Monday morning and continued until 10 a.m., Debbie Landon, station spokesman, told the newspaper. The promotion is part of the station's 50th anniversary "Summer of '59 Celebration," she explained.

Another Tulsa Kum & Go station will have $1.59 gas today, and a third will have the lowered price Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. as well, Landon said. The locations of the stations will be announced each morning on radio station 92.1 The Beat.

The stations will sell a maximum of 50 gallons per customer at that price until 10 a.m., at which time they will cap the line and allow each car that was lined up for gas to buy at the discounted rate, according to the Tulsa World report.
