Designed to provide small- to medium-sized businesses with networking and telecommunication solutions, the DuraFon-UHF is a dual-mode radio phone. The durable, long-range cordless phone also doubles as a UHF two-way radio that allows communication between both radio and phone users. The system gives users the ability to make and receive calls while moving throughout their facilities, thus improving their productivity and enhancing customer service, according to maker EnGenius Technologies. Calls can be made or received within retail locations as large as 250,000 square feet, and the signal can penetrate as many as 12 stories tall.
