VP Introduces Two New Street-Legal Fuel Blends

SAN ANTONIO -- VP Racing Fuels Inc. introduced two street-legal unleaded fuels: VP 101 and VP 102. Both are designed for use in muscle cars, exotic cars, sport compacts, street rods, sportbikes, cruisers or any high-performance vehicle requiring a high octane fuel, stated the company.

According to VP Racing President Alan Cerwick, both fuels are oxygenated with ethanol and meet Arizona and California Air Resource Board requirements. VP 101 is offered on a regular basis, while VP102 is available by special order only.

“These fuels are an important component of our retail branding program and represent yet another opportunity for c-stores to set themselves apart from the competition,” said Bryan Noonen, regional manager, branded wholesale business development for VP Racing. “There are other fuel companies that offer street-legal 100 octane fuels, but VP Racing Fuels stands alone in offering 101 and 102. The fuels are a great tool for attracting new business from owners of high-performance vehicles.”

VP 101 and VP 102 can be utilized in engines ranging from four cylinders to 12 cylinders. The fuels are designed to deliver increased horsepower and acceleration, better throttle response and a cleaner burn, stated VP Racing.

Founded in 1975, VP Racing Fuels is the official racing fuel of more than 60 series and sanctioning bodies, including NHRA Championship Drag Racing; American Le Mans; World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and Late Model Series; and Rally America.
