RKA Petroleum Hires Director of National Accounts

ROMULUS, Mich. -- RKA Petroleum Cos. recently hired Scott Steiner as its new director of national accounts, brought on to better assist the company in its fast-growing area of demand.

Additionally, Steiner will consult with RKA Petroleum Cos.' customers to better analyze energy price risk and develop solutions to further their risk management goals using strategic hedge planning.

"We see [Steiner's] knowledge and past management experience working for a major fuel brand in a large variety of areas within the fuel industry as a huge value-add to our customers and prospects. [Steiner] is able to better understand our customers' dynamic requirements as well as their options within national purchasing and fuel chain management" said Keith Albertie, executive vice president of RKA Petroleum Cos.

Prior to joining RKA Petroleum, Steiner spent 12 years with BP in Supply and Trading, Risk Management and Account Management.

Steiner holds a BA from Illinois Wesleyan University. Steiner is married, has four school-aged sons and resides in the Chicago area.

RKA Petroleum is a distributor of refined and renewable fuel products and provides fuel management solutions to commercial, industrial, national, and government customers in 24 states. RKA serves the retail industry in Florida, Michigan and Ohio.
