Parker’s Hires Director of Fuel Services

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Parker's Corp. named Jeff Bush its director of fuel services.

Bush is responsible for overseeing fuel logistics, pricing strategies, supply costs and supplier negotiations for the operator of 30 convenience stores. He previously served as business manager for Armstrong Atlantic State University's newspaper, The Inkwell.

Bush also served as a forward observer for the U.S. Army, and quickly rose to the rank of staff sergeant. During his military service, Bush earned the Combat Action Badge, Iraqi Campaign Medal and 14 other awards and medals.

"Jeff's military background, commitment to excellence and attention to detail make him an excellent addition to the Parker's team," said Parker's President and CEO Greg Parker. "I met him when I spoke to students at Armstrong Atlantic State University last year and was immediately impressed by his enthusiasm."

Bush, a resident of Hinesville, Ga., is completing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Armstrong Atlantic.

Savannah, Ga.-based Parker's Corp. operates c-stores throughout Georgia and South Carolina.
