FleetCor Launches Chevron, Texaco Universal Business MasterCard

ATLANTA -- FleetCor Operating Co. LLC yesterday launched a new offering to its business card portfolio with the Chevron and Texaco Universal Business MasterCard.

Available now, the new card provides companies the tracking benefits of a fuel card system with the flexibility to make fuel purchases wherever MasterCard cards are accepted, according to the company.

"We are pleased that FleetCor is building upon the Chevron and Texaco fleet card program by offering the Universal Business MasterCard. This product will help better target and acquire larger fleets," Rod Tos, manager of Chevron Card Operations, said in a statement. The Chevron and Texaco Universal Business Card allows customers to earn credits for fuel purchases at U.S. Chevron and Texaco branded locations.

The addition of the Chevron and Texaco Universal Business MasterCard adds to fueling options with enhanced features that attract larger fleets, as well as supports the small businesses with specialized needs, according to the company. MasterCard is accepted at over 175,000 fueling locations nationwide.

"Offering innovative products like the Universal Business Card is just one way FleetCor works with Chevron to be at the forefront of the fleet card industry," Dave MacFarland, FleetCor's general manager for the Chevron Fleet portfolio, said in a statement.
