AUSTIN, Texas — The first three retailers to install Wayne Fueling Systems' Ovation2 dispensers have responded with excellent customer feedback, the company reported.
Bruce Crossing, Mich.-based Settlers Co-Op Inc., Proctor, Minn.-based Proctor Milk House and Hub City Convenience Stores' Fast Stop Store in Hart, Texas, installed the dispensers late in 2013. Now, all three praise the customer-friendly technologies, including an interactive user interface, enhanced media capabilities and overall curb appeal, according to Wayne.
“The Ovation2 dispensers not only look good, they are easy for our customers to operate. The dispensers add an improved fueling experience for customers compared to the non-Wayne dispensers we previously had,” said Chris Gscheidle, vice president of human resources and information technology for Hub City Convenience Stores.
Mark Fiege, owner and operator of Proctor Milk House, added that he also likes the Ovation2 dispenser because it complies with PCI (payment card industry) and EMV (Europay, MasterCard and Visa) security regulations.
"One of the reasons I chose the Ovation2 dispenser was to stay ahead of the PCI requirements," he noted. "The Ovation2 dispenser’s modular keypad design and upgradeable software compatibility help to make compliance with evolving standards easy and cost-effective."
Marvin Larson of Settlers Co-Op concluded that the Ovation2 is durable. “This year, we had one of the harshest winters I can remember in Michigan, and the dispensers continued to operate with no issues in temperatures well below zero degrees for long periods of time," he stated.
