Chevron & Albertsons Take Fuel Rewards to Louisiana

SAN RAMON, Calif. — Chevron Products Co., a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc., and Albertsons Cos. LLC, continue to expand their joint fuel rewards program, this time bringing the service to customers in southern Louisiana.

Under the fuel rewards program, for every 100 Reward Points earned by shopping at Louisiana Albertsons stores, customers receive a 10 cent-per-gallon gas reward to use at participating Chevron and Texaco stations. Customers earn reward points every time they use their registered phone number while shopping at local Albertsons stores.

To sign up for the loyalty program, customers can either visit Albertsons.com or download the app on their Android or iOS devices.

As CSNews Online reported, Chevron and Albertsons most recently expanded their joint fuel rewards program to portions of Florida in June.

“Chevron is continually looking for innovative ways to provide value to its customers and reward them for brand preference,” said George Wall, vice president, Americas Products, for Chevron. “We’re thrilled to offer even more customers the opportunity to reap the benefits and product offerings of both Albertsons and Chevron.”

San Ramon-based Chevron is one of the world’s largest integrated oil companies.
