SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — This September, Convenience Store News produced the first-ever live event aimed exclusively at foodservice in convenience stores, the industry’s fastest-growing category. The Convenience Foodservice Exchange provided a forum for retailers and their supplier and distributor partners to exchange actionable information, insights and data to increase sales and shopper engagement.
The invitation-only event took place Sept. 15-16 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Illinois, and drew key executives from some of the c-store industry’s most progressive chains.
The conference explored such crucial issues as why consumers choose one channel over another when purchasing food and beverages; what attributes of the foodservice experience are most important to consumers; and how c-stores can improve to gain a bigger share of the foodservice pie.
Full coverage of the Convenience Foodservice Exchange will appear in the Convenience Store News Guide to Foodservice, being published in November.
