Stripes to Get Social on National Taco Day

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Stripes Convenience Stores and its Laredo Taco Co. proprietary foodservice program will celebrate National Taco Day with a social media promotion that gives customers the chance to win free breakfast tacos for the rest of the year.

To enter, customers can visit Stripes' Facebook page at www.facebook.com/stripesstores on Oct. 4, National Taco Day, and upload a photo of themselves eating a taco before 11:59 p.m. Four winners will be randomly selected and announced on Monday, Oct. 6.

Stripes will also post a Facebook coupon under its Prize Cooler tab that customers can print out and redeem for a free breakfast taco on Oct. 6-7. All Laredo Taco locations will accept the coupon.

Additionally, Stripes will announce the winner of its "Best Grito" contest on National Taco Day. The video of a customer "throwing their best grito" that has the most Facebook votes will win a $500 Stripes gift card and free lunch tacos, as CSNews Online previously reported.
