Rutter’s Spices Up Menu With Sriracha

YORK, Pa. — Rutter’s Farm Stores expanded its award-winning menu with the increasingly popular sriracha hot sauce and the classic American fare of corn dog bites.

Sriracha, a chili sauce that originated in Thailand, is now available as a flavor sauce for Rutter’s jumbo chicken wings and beef short ribs, and can also be used as a condiment accompaniment to almost anything on Rutter’s menu from its ultimate burgers and sandwiches to subs, wraps and more.

Rutter’s new corn dog bites, which are fried to a golden brown and served with a choice of condiments, offer customers authentic state fair cuisine.

“The newest menu additions give us a little more variety to satisfy and delight our customers, which is always our first goal,” said Jerry Weiner, Rutter’s vice president of foodservice.

Rutter’s Farm Stores was named the 2014 International Convenience Retailer of the Year by NACS and Insight Research, and also took first place in five categories in the 2014 York Daily Record/ Sunday News’ Best of York reader’s poll: Best Milk, Best Coffee and Best Quick-Service Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
