Pilot Travel Centers Launches Broadband Wireless

HIAWATHA, Iowa -- Pilot Travel Centers launched Ready Wireless' prepaid Ready Broadband wireless Internet product and service offering.

"The Ready Broadband product has been a fantastic addition to our mobile electronics offering in Pilot Travel Centers," Mel Beech, Pilot Travel Centers national category manager, said in a released statement. "It is exactly the kind of quick and easy mobile solution traveling customers are looking for. The team at Ready Wireless has been great to work with and the product launch is off to great start."

Ready Broadband offers mobile computer users constant access to the Internet and e-mail while allowing customers the ability to control costs through prepayment of service, the company reported. Customers only pay for the service when they use it. Ready Broadband customers access the Internet and email anywhere on the Sprint PCS network coast to coast.

"Pilot Travel Centers LLC is the nation's largest retail operator of travel centers," Fred Haumesser, executive vice president of Ready Wireless, said in a released statement. "Pilot is the perfect retailer of Ready Broadband service. Ready Broadband gives travelers the ability to access e-mail, download photos or surf the Internet from wherever they are.
