Pilot Travel Centers Adds Fuelman

KNOXVILLE, TENN. -- Pilot Travel Centers, one of the country's leading provider of interstate travel centers, has entered into an agreement to accept the Fuelman Fleet Card at all of its locations.

"We began accepting the Fuelman card at Pilot Food Marts throughout Tennessee last summer, and it's been a big success," said Jay Stinnett, regional sales manager at Pilot. "Now thousands of Fuelman customers can use their cards to enjoy the convenience, competitive pricing and great facilities at our travel centers as well."

Based in Knoxville, Tenn., Pilot Travel Centers operates more than 275 locations in 37 states. Its sister company, Pilot Food Marts, operates 67 convenience stores in Tennessee and Virginia.

Fuelman cards are issued by Atlanta-based FleetCor Technologies.

"It's important to our clients to know they can stop at any Pilot location -- whether along the interstate or at any Pilot-branded convenience store -- and receive the same level of control, security and convenience they find at all Fuelman Fleet Card service locations," said Steve Harned, senior vice president of FleetCor. "All transactions are PIN- and product-code secured, allowing drivers to purchase only those products and services approved in advance by the fleet manager."
