Loyalty Success at Flash Foods

WAYCROSS, Ga. -- Flash Foods Inc., headquartered in Waycross, Ga., and operating 180 c-stores reports enormous success with its new loyalty program called "Rewards in a Flash," using Pinnacle’s Loyalink application.

The company launched the program at all of it stores on April 18, 2005, and as in two weeks, had 38,000 customers signed up. To date, the total number of cardholders is 90,200, with loyalty transactions averaging 10,000 per day.

"The number of 'Rewards in a Flash,' loyalty customers continues to grow on a daily basis," said Jeannie Amerson, manager of loyalty and advertising for Flash Foods. "The different product promotions that we introduce each month keep interest high with present cardholders and also drive new loyalty customer sign-ups."

Loyalink uses broadband communications to manage the real-time collection of transactional data from Pinnacle Palm POS to deliver loyalty rewards at the checkout. Additionally, the centralized promotion management and compiled transaction data provides retailers with the business analytics required to measure promotion, store and customer performance.

Flash Foods is presently focused on collecting demographic data from customers. Once it has a sufficient amount, the company plans to utilize the data to determine customer buying behaviors and trends that will improve customer service and increase profits.
