Johnsonville Sausage introduces the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit to its Handheld Sandwiches line, designed for grab-and-go convenience. The tender buttermilk biscuit is stuffed with real scrambled eggs, Johnsonville sausage and mild cheddar cheese. Individually packaged, Johnsonville's line of handheld sandwiches are ready to heat from the refrigerator or freezer, taking only 50 seconds in the microwave. They are ideal for breakfast, snacking and combo meals, according to the company. The biscuit maintains its tender texture for up to four hours in a warmer. Other varieties in the line include: Sausage & Gravy Stuffed Biscuit; Smokey Cheddar Sausage in Soft Baked Roll; Smoked Brat in Soft Baked Roll; Spicy Sunrise Sausage in Soft Baked Roll; and Sweet n' Smokey Sausage in Soft Baked Roll.
