Flash Foods to Acquire Autry Petroleum Retail Stores
WAYCROSS, Ga. -- The Jones Company, based in Waycross, Ga., has acquired 18 stores currently being operated by Autry Petroleum, of Thomasville, Ga. The stores, which operate under the Sunrise Pantry name, will be reimaged as Flash Foods units. Autry Petroleum will continue its wholesale fuel operations.
Jimmy Walker, president of Flash Foods, noted that "the acquisition was a perfect fit for our company. These are excellent stores and we look forward to the expansion of the Flash Foods brand into southwest Georgia."
The sale is expected to close in late July. The addition of the Autry units will bring to 182 the total number of stores operated by the company.
