Eli’s Tarts

New line capitalizes on the individual-sized dessert trend.

Eli’s Cheesecake Co. introduces a new product line, Eli’s Tarts, which capitalizes on the trend of individual-sized dessert offerings. Each tart is baked in a crisp, housemade, all-butter pâte sucrée crust, baked to a golden brown. Four varieties are available: Salted Caramel Tart, which features layers of rich, gooey, housemade caramel and bittersweet chocolate ganache topped with a sprinkle of coarse salt; Lemon Tart, a balance of smooth, tart lemon filling and a crispy sweet base dusted with powdered sugar; Cheesecake Tart, a new way to enjoy Eli’s Original Plain Cheesecake, made from pure Madagascar vanilla; and Butter Tart, Eli’s spin on Canada’s most celebrated dessert made with a sweet mixture of butter, brown sugar and eggs for a chewy, gooey contrast to the crisp crust. The three-inch, 2.6-ounce tarts come in 36-packs. They are made using certified kosher dairy.
