Cody's Partners with Hot Stuff Foods

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Cody’s, the convenience store chain named after Wild West icon Buffalo Bill Cody, is delivering foodservice with guns a blazing. The 39-unit retailer entered into an agreement to be a Hot Stuff franchisee at 20-plus of its stores, according to Curtis Jared, president and CEO of Cody’s Convenience Stores.

"We’ve been very impressed with the quality, service, freshness and foodservice profitability that Hot Stuff has provided," Jared stated. "Every 21 days, each of our stores receives a service visit from our Hot Stuff consultant who works hand-in-hand with our foodservice team on every dimension of our foodservice program. Most importantly, our customers love the taste of the fresh-made Hot Stuff pizzas, sandwiches and breakfast products, and we enjoy strong margins on the Hot Stuff program."

Cody’s has been serving customers since 1886 when the original general store was opened and named in honor of Buffalo Bill Cody who brought his Wild West Show to Springfield. Cody’s now has 39 stores catering to Missouri residents and guests 24/7. The retailer offers a wide range of products and services including fuel, foodservice, ATM, car wash, DVD rentals, showers and more.

Hot Stuff Foods franchises and/or licenses its branded food concepts—Hot Stuff Foods, SmashHits Deli and Hot Stuff Food On the Go—in more than 1,300 locations throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
