CHS Board Selects New Delegates
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Members of CHS Inc., marketer and distributor of Cenex brand refined fuels, selected six producers to serve three-year terms on the farmer-owned cooperative's board of directors, the company reported yesterday.
Delegates elected were Eleva, Wis., producer Greg Kruger, as one of two directors representing producers in a region including 19 Great Lakes and eastern U.S. states. Kruger succeeds Robert Grabarski of Arkdale, Wis., who was elected in 1999.
Re-elected to the board were Curt Eischens of Minneota, Minn.; Jerry Hasnedl of St. Hilaire, Minn.; Richard Owen of Geraldine, Mont.; Bruce Anderson of Glenburn, N.D.; and Dan Schurr of LeClaire, Iowa. The elections took place during the company’s annual meeting held Dec. 5, in Minneapolis.
Following the election, the 17-member board elected Michael Toelle of Browns Valley, Minn., to his seventh one-year term as chairman. Other officers elected were Bob Bass, Reedsburg, Wis., as first vice chairman; Anderson as secretary-treasurer; Eischens as second vice chairman; and Randy Knecht of Houghton, S.D., as assistant secretary-treasurer.
